Mrs Anne-Marie Deppeler serves as Head of Primary at Wahroonga Adventist School. With more than 20 years of experience in education and six years as a valued member of the Wahroonga community, she brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise and a deep commitment to student success.

As Head of Primary, Mrs Deppeler provides strategic leadership across Kindergarten to Year 6, championing high-quality teaching and learning, student wellbeing, and the development of a positive and inclusive school culture. She is passionate about creating engaging learning environments where every child is challenged to achieve their personal best while feeling safe, supported and valued.

Mrs Deppeler works collaboratively with staff, students and families to foster strong relationships and a shared commitment to learning. She is dedicated to supporting teachers in their professional growth, ensuring evidence-based teaching practices, and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement throughout the Primary School.

A strong advocate for holistic education, Mrs Deppeler values the opportunity to support students academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. She is particularly passionate about helping students develop confidence, resilience and character, equipping them with the skills they need to flourish both within and beyond the classroom.

Mr Michael St Mart serves as Head of Secondary at Wahroonga Adventist School, bringing 18 years of experience in education to his leadership of Years 7 to 12.

In his role, Mr St Mart oversees student wellbeing, academic progress, staff leadership, and the culture and direction of the Secondary School. He is committed to leading a Christ-centred secondary learning community focused on strong learning, character development and faith formation.

Mr St Mart is passionate about building a culture of high expectations and genuine care, where students are known, supported and challenged. He works closely with staff to support quality teaching and partners with families to help each student make the most of their opportunities.

For Mr St Mart, being part of a Christ-centred learning community underpins all that happens at Wahroonga Adventist School. Faith is not separate from learning; it shapes the way students are supported, relationships are formed, and young people are encouraged to grow in knowledge, character, faith and purpose.

He values the strong partnership between deeply committed staff, supportive families and students who want to do well and be part of something positive. Ms Alyssa Potts serves as Business Manager & Office Manager at Wahroonga Adventist School. She joined the school in 2013 as Bursar and was appointed Business Manager in 2020.

As a member of the Executive team, Ms Potts provides strategic and operational leadership across finance, administration, compliance, facilities, workplace health and safety, and a range of support services. She is passionate about creating effective systems and processes that support staff, students and families while helping the school achieve its mission and strategic goals.

Ms Potts values partnering with colleagues to build a sustainable and thriving school environment that enables students to flourish academically, socially and spiritually.

What she values most about Wahroonga Adventist School is the genuine sense of belonging and shared purpose across the school community. She values the strong partnerships between staff, students and families, and the collective commitment to helping young people grow in faith, character and learning within a caring Christian environment.

Pr Nicholas “Nick” Kross serves as Senior / Lead Chaplain at Wahroonga Adventist School. He has been part of the Wahroonga Adventist School community for four years and has 10 years of experience in Seventh-day Adventist education.

As Senior / Lead Chaplain, Pr Kross represents and advocates for the spiritual life of the school, helping ensure the purpose of Adventist education — to reveal Jesus — remains central to the school’s direction, ethos and decision-making.

He oversees the co-curricular spiritual life of the school, including chapel teams, worship bands, mission trips and ministry programs across both Primary and Secondary, working alongside the campus chaplains. He also facilitates chapels, Weeks of Worship, and opt-in Bible studies, creating opportunities for students, staff, and families to explore faith, discover purpose, and grow in their relationship with God.

Pr Kross values that Wahroonga Adventist School is unapologetically Christian. Supporting young people as they grow in the knowledge that they are created, known and loved by God is the reason he does this work.

He loves seeing students step out in faith, whether through worship, sharing their testimony, serving others, or simply discovering the purpose God has for their lives. Being part of a community that points young people to Jesus and helps shape both character and faith is deeply meaningful to him.

Ms Natalie Rogers serves as Head of Wellbeing at Wahroonga Adventist School and has been part of the school community for 10 years.

She is passionate about creating a school environment where every young person feels a genuine sense of belonging and is supported to thrive in a Christ-centred community.

In her role, Ms Rogers leads wellbeing across the school from Prep to Year 12, supporting systems and practices that promote student wellbeing, positive behaviour and a connected school community.

She oversees whole-school wellbeing initiatives and supports consistent, restorative approaches to student wellbeing and behaviour. Ms Rogers works closely with the Executive, Stage Coordinators and Counsellors to ensure each student is known, valued and supported as a whole person.

Ms Rogers values the strong sense of care and connection within the Wahroonga Adventist School community, where every student is known and supported. She enjoys being part of a school that nurtures the whole person — academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually — and creates opportunities for each young person to grow and flourish.
