Chapel Program / Chaplaincy

Wahroonga Adventist School is a school of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and as such we celebrate our heritage alongside the breadth of tradition and culture of the Church. All students attend Chapel weekly.

Students attend a Chapel service weekly either in the Wahroonga Adventist Church or Fox Valley Community Centre, both located on the Wahroonga Estate. Students are invited to participate in leadership opportunities presented. Worship music reflects the great diversity of traditional and modern music of the Church. We regularly incorporate contemporary and creative elements of worship into these services. In addition to the weekly service, there are opportunities for students to participate in acts of service and experiences throughout the year.

The Chaplains are also involved in student fellowship groups, which seek to provide further opportunity for the students to discover and share their faith.

Wired is a student-led fellowship group that meets once a term. During this time students support one another, have fun, explore the Bible and faith issues, talk together, eat, sing and pray. The group is supported by the Chaplains and other staff members. All students in Years 7 to 12 are welcome to attend.
