Prep

Prep is a strong transition to school program for children aged 4 and above. Co-located on school grounds, our Prep program familiarises your child with our teachers, students, philosophy and school routines so that they have a smooth start in Kindergarten. Children are involved in a variety of play-based learning activities that nurture their creativity and social connections.

Foundational literacy and numeracy skills and knowledge are explicitly taught in a fun learning environment. Our Prep teacher is supported by teaching assistants and specialist teachers deliver lessons in Design Thinking, Sport and Library throughout the week. Chaplains also connect with the children through weekly Chapel and class visits.

Attendance options are available from two to five days. The program operates during school hours from 8:40am to 3:00pm. Supervision is available from 8am to 3:30pm and onsite after school care is also available until 6:00pm. 

To enrol in Prep, students are required to have turned 4 years of age by the 1st of January in the year they are entering Prep.
